I just realized I hadn't blog my English assignment. So, that's what I'm gonna do now.
I'm supposed to blog about the Green Mile. which is an M18 gorry movie. Even though I'm a Lit student, I'm just gonna talk about the movie on a very superficial level since I'm those kind who actually don't look too much into things like these. To me, it's just mere entertainment though if you try and explain it to me, i'll find it uber interesting. One of the reasons is because i hate finding out the reason myself (lazy) and if you're kind enough to explain it to me, i'll find it very interesting. You see, I wanna know the meaning but am lazy to find it out myself. That's why I'm an ELECTIVE Lit student, I like those profound meanings behind stuffs but I hate finding out everything myself.
Anyway, I just think that the movie leaves me very emotionally drained and dry. totally...it's like after watching, i don't have the strength to move on with lessons and all that. am i too emotional? i cried a bit, at the end. it was just so so so so touching. and i hate Percy. if given a chance, i don't wanna watch it again. not my cup of coffee. i still enjoy chick flicks the most =) you know movies like White Chicks, Hot Chicks, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, etc. You get the idea. so the Green Mile definitely not my taste. nevertheless, it's a pretty good movie. and when Ben Tan explained one scene where the John Coffey was talking something about angels and he actually was the angel and the movie portrayed it in a way that the light shines behind him, forming a halo or what. that was very impressive. Ben Tan should have really sign up for film studies. he good.
anyway, it's kinda hard to eat fried prawn mee sitting on a chair with the mee on a stool and the stool on my lap and typing at the same time. so i'm gonna end here.
i'm so gonna fail my blogging assignments. at least i took the effort =)
